Here we discuss steps to follow to install a plugin on a WordPress site using the built-in Plugin search tool. Access to the WordPress administrator dashboard will be needed to complete this task.

- Log into to the WordPress administrator dashboard
- This is done by adding wp-admin to the end of the domain URL
EXAMPLE: domain.com/wp-admin
REPLACE: replace domain.com with the domain that is being accessed
NOTE: If a security plugin is being used or a hide URL plugin the login page may be different
- This is done by adding wp-admin to the end of the domain URL
- On the right side menu, locate and hover over Plugins
- Click Add New
- Use the search bar to locate the desired plugin, search keywords, or browse the most commonly installed plugins
TIP: Click Details next to any plugin to learn more information about it. - Click Install Now when ready
- Once installed, click Activate to enable the plugin
