This is the recommended plugin to help resolve email errors such as WooCommerce SMTP Error: Data not accepted, as well as email going to spam, undelivered, or bounced back using WordPress' inherent PHPMailer.

Locating SMTP Settings
- Log into cPanel

Click the Email Accounts button in the Email section

Click the Connect Devices button next to the email account you want WordPress to use

Copy down the Outgoing Server settings for the account
TIP: It is always recommended to use the Secure SSL/TLS settings.
Setting up WP Mail SMTP
- After installing and activating the WP Mail SMTP plugin, click the Let's Get Started button
NOTE: If you aren't presented with this screen, navigate to WP Mail SMTP > Settings > Launch Setup Wizard. - In the Choose Your SMTP Mailer page, click on Other SMTP, then click on Save and Continue
- In the Configure Mailer Settings page, for the SMTP Host, enter the Outgoing Server from the Connect Devices page in the previous section
- SMTP Encryption should be set to SSL

SMTP Port should be set to 465

Auto TLS should be Disabled

Authentication should be set to Enable, using the Email Address as the SMTP Username, and the email account's password for the SMTP Password
- Make sure Force From Name and Force From Email are enabled
TIP: This will ensure that all emails sent from the website come from the same name and email address.
- Click the Save and Continue button
- On the next page, enable the features that you would like, and click the Save and Continue button
- On the next page, decide if you want recommendations from WP Mail SMTP, make the selection, and press the Save and Continue button
- On the next page, the WP Mail SMTP Pro license key can be applied if you have one, or click the Skip this Step button if not
- WP Mail SMTP will test the configuration to make sure the settings allow a valid connection
