These are steps to follow if emails on your WordPress site are not being delivered or delivered to spam. WordPress doesn't use SMTP to send email by default, instead using a PHPMailer. Using an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP by WPForms is recommended.

NOTE: View the guide on Installing Plugins in WordPress, if needed. Once installed, the plugin can be configured following the steps below.
- In cPanel, Create an Email Address for the site to use, or use one that has already been created for this purpose
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard
- Go to the specific plugin's configuration section
- When installing WP Mail SMTP, you will be taken through a launch wizard
- Choose Other SMTP
- Host will be your email service mail.domain.com. For best results, you will want to use the Secured Server URL
- Shared: securexxx.inmotionhosting.com
- Reseller: securexxx.servconfig.com
- VPS: vpsxxx.inmotionhosting.com
- Dedicated Server: dedxxx.inmotionhosting.com
NOTE: The server hostname value for your specific server can be found in Account Technical Details.
- The port should be relative to the encryption type
- If SSL - Port 465
- Enable Authentication
- Verify and input the email address and password either created or decided upon in Step 1
- Send a test email to ensure the contact form emails are successfully being delivered
