This article demonstrates how to create full and partial backups in the Control Web Panel (CWP) Admin.
Create Backup
IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.
- Log into CWP Admin
- Expand CWP Settings
- Select NEW Backup (beta)
- Select By account to choose user accounts to backup
- Select the Features and settings tab
- Check or uncheck the items to include or exclude in the backups
- Check or uncheck the items to include or exclude in the backups
- Select the Destination tab
- Specify a local file or directory, FTP server IP, or SSH server to store the backups
NOTE: Customizing the temporary directory to create backups and levels is optional.

- Select the Frequency and Execution tab
- Customize the backup schedule to be daily, weekly, and/or monthly
- Select Notifications
- Choose when and who to notify about the status of the backup
- Select Save and create new backup
