If you see Tucows as the Registrar, you will want to review who the Reseller is for the specific location of the domain registration. Companies like Tucows allow others like InMotion Hosting to resell domains through them.

Lookup Domain

1. Open up WhoIs
2. Enter the domain name in the search box in the upper right
   
3. If the domain is registered, you will see
   
   
   1. Scroll down to the Raw Whois Data section
   2. View the Registrar and Reseller lines for the specific registrar
      TIP: If the Registrar is TUCOWS, INC. but there is no reseller listed, that information can be found by inputting the domain name into this Tucows Provider site.
      
4. If the domain is not registered, you will see
   
   1. Register New Domain
