Add/Remove cPanel Licenses

Here, we cover what to do if you need to add or remove additional cPanel licenses in AMP on a VPS or Dedicated server.

cPanel licenses will not downgrade automatically if you drop your cPanel use below the next level threshold; the license must be downgraded manually via this process.

If additional licenses are required on a Reseller account, an upgrade to a VPS or Dedicated server must be performed. No additional licenses are available for purchase on Reseller plans.

Change Number of cPanels

1. While in AMP, select Marketplace from the menu bar
   
   
2. Select the cPanel/WHM Licensing button
   
   
3. If there are multiple plans on the account, select the plan you are working with from the drop-down menu
   
   
   1. To add cPanels
      1. Select the number of cPanels to add to the hosting plan
      2. Click Add to Cart
         
         
   2. To remove cPanels
      1. Select the lowest plan that can be applied with the current cPanel usage
      2. Click Add to Cart
4. In the green popup confirming the cart add, click Continue to Cart or click on the Cart Icon on the far right of the menu bar
   
   
5. Select the method of payment
6. Click Order
