Install PHP Versions on VPS and Dedicated Servers

Here we discuss how to install a new PHP version on VPS and Dedicated servers using the EasyApache 4 upgrade tool. Root access to WHM will be required for this process. Adding new versions of PHP and modifying existing versions is possible with the use of EasyApache 4.

Installing PHP Versions

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.

1. Log into Root WHM
2. Navigate to EasyApache 4, located in the Software section
   
3. Click on the blue Customize button for Currently Installed Packages
   
   
4. Click Next until the PHP Versions section is reached
   
5. Click on the toggle switch for the PHP version you want to install
   
6. Click on the blue PHP X.X and Extensions button to ensure the PHP version and it's extensions are installed
   
7. Click Next until the Review section is reached
   
8. Click Provision at the bottom of the page and wait for the process to complete
   
9. Click Done after the process completes
