Install PHP Defender on CWP

Here, we explain how to install PHP Defender on Control Web Panel (CWP) servers. 

PHP Defender is a PHP security module that has a custom configuration for each PHP version. Supported PHP versions are PHP 7 and PHP 8.

PHP Defender

1. Log into CWP Admin
2. Navigate to Security Center, located in the Security section
3. Select the PHP Defender tab
4. Select an installation type and Defender Mode
   NOTE: PHP Defender is only available on PHP 7+.
5. Click Install Now
6. Confirm the options are correct
7. Click Accept
   TIP: The Defender Mode options can be modified after installation.
