To use BoldGrid plugins and themes you will need a Connect Key. Upon installing BoldGrid you will be prompted to enter your key to complete the setup.
A BoldGrid Connect Key is included with your hosting plan and can be found in your Account Management Panel (AMP). Here we cover the steps to locate your Connect Key.

Install BoldGrid Using Softaculous
If Boldgrid is Installed
- On the My Account page click on Manage BoldGrid, located under the Manage My Account section
NOTE: If this option is not visible, proceed to the next section. - Click on View Connect Key for the applicable BoldGrid installation
- Copy the key from the popup to paste into the BoldGrid plugin
If BoldGrid is not Installed
- On the My Account page click on Install BoldGrid, located under the section specific to your hosting plan
- Select the applicable option
- I don't have an existing site on my domain will guide you through the process of installing BoldGrid and, once completed, will provide a link to the Manage BoldGrid page in AMP from which you can retrieve the Connect Key, as detailed in the section above
- I already have an existing site, but it's not built with BoldGrid or WordPress will guide you through installing BoldGrid in a testing environment and, once completed, will provide a link to the Manage BoldGrid page in AMP from which you can retrieve the Connect Key, as detailed in the section above
- I already have a WordPress site will provide a link to download the BoldGrid plugin and installation instructions and your Connect Key will be listed in step 3
NOTE: If you've already installed BoldGrid you can skip the first two steps and simply copy the key from Step 3.
If Neither of the above Options are Visible in your AMP
- On the My Account page click on Download BoldGrid, located under the section specific to your hosting plan
- Follow Steps 1 and 2 to install BoldGrid or simply copy the key from Step 3 if BoldGrid is already installed
