If the domain of your website has changed or you are copying the site from one domain to another, the Site URL and Home settings will need to be updated to reflect the new domain. If the site is functional on the old domain, this can be done from the WordPress dashboard.
In situations where this can't be done, such as when copying the site to a new domain or when DNS for the domain is pointing elsewhere, they will need to be updated manually in the site's database. Here we detail the steps to update these settings using phpMyAdmin.
