Enable/Disable ModSecurity In CWP

Here we cover how to enable and disable ModSecurity for individual domains in CWP7. This can be useful for troubleshooting to determine if ModSecurity is causing a blockage or an issue.

It is important to note that we never recommend ModSecurity to be left disabled. Disabling ModSecurity should generally only be done for troubleshooting purposes.

Enable/Disable ModSecurity in CWP7 Pro

  1. Log into CWP Admin
  2. Locate the "Security" section, and click ModSecurity

  3. Select the tab Domains
  4. Each website will have a small box under the column Actions which can be toggled ON/OFF to enable or disable ModSecurity
