Enable Process Monitoring in CWP

Process monitoring refers to the continuous observation and management of server processes and resources to ensure the smooth operation of web hosting services. This involves tracking the performance of various server components such as CPU usage, memory consumption, disk space, and network activity.

By monitoring these metrics in real time, administrators can identify potential issues, bottlenecks, or abnormal behavior, allowing them to take proactive measures to optimize server performance, prevent downtime, and ensure a reliable hosting environment for websites and applications.

Process monitoring tools integrated into hosting panels facilitate efficient server management and contribute to the overall stability and responsiveness of the hosting infrastructure. CWP Pro is included with our CWP plans, allowing Monit to be used for service monitoring purposes.

Enable Process Monitoring

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.
CAUTION: There are times when Monit Service Monitoring may need to be installed. This service is included with CWP Pro, which comes with all CWP plans. Follow the Install Monit Service Monitoring on CWP guide for installation steps if needed.
 

1. Log into CWP Admin
2. Navigate to Monit Monitoring (cwppro), located under Services Config
    
3. Click on the Manage Services tab to check the monitoring status for services
   
   NOTE: If you are instead prompted to install Monit, follow the guide to Install Monit Service Monitoring.
4. If the services are not being monitored, click the green Start button at the top of the screen
