Restore via New Backup in CWP

This article provides agents guidance on performing backup restoration within the Control Web Panel (CWP).

It explains the New Backup method, which is in Beta, to restore backups efficiently, offering users a clear and accessible path to recovering their essential data and system configurations.

Restore Backup

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.

  1. Log into CWP Admin
  2. Expand CWP Settings
  3. Select NEW Backup (beta)

  4. Select Restore Account from the upper right tab
  5. Select a backup on the right
  6. Locate the correct backup to be restored
  7. Choose either All Content or Custom Content

  8. Click Restore Now
