IMPORTANT: If you have Managed WordPress Hosting, you will need to use our Upgrade or Downgrade Managed WordPress Hosting Plan article.
TIP: When attempting to move from a VPS or Dedicated server to one of our Shared servers, your WordPress software and plugins will need to be current, and you will need to have caching installed.
CAUTION: Our shared plans only allow for one cPanel account.
NOTE: If you want to change the term length and plan type, you will need to change the term length first and then process the upgrade or downgrade.

On the My Account page in AMP, locate and click the Change Hosting Plan icon

On the next page, select the type of plan to change to
TIP: Your hosting plan must be current when attempting to upgrade or downgrade.
IMPORTANT: The change plan tool will calculate any credit for unused time, and the pricing you see will have the credit already included.
NOTE: You will only see the term you are currently on for each additionally available plan, unless the plan does not offer that term.

Select Checkout, where you will see all items that are tied to your hosting plan listed

Select the desired form of payment
NOTE: Venmo is available when you select PayPal. -
Check I Agree to the Terms of Service

To submit

For Credit Card payment
- Click Order

For PayPal payment
- Click PayPal
- Process the payment via the popup window that appears

For Venmo payment
- Click Venmo
- Process the payment via the popup window that appears
