Email Attachments Not Saving on Sent Mail Using Horde

Here we explain steps to follow if wanting to save attachment data on emails sent in Webmail using Horde. This involves updating the Sent Mail settings in Horde. This process can help ensure that email attachments are being saved on sent email messages in the correct format instead of TXT files.

Enable Save Attachments on Sent Mail 

1. Log into Webmail for the email account, then chose the Horde client
2. Hover the mouse pointer on the Gear icon at the top of the page in Horde
   
3. From there hover over Preferences and click on Mail
   
   
4. Locate and click on Sent Mail under the Compose category 
   
5. Use the drop-down menu to select Save Attachments underneath Save attachments in the sent-mail message
   
   
6. Click Save
