Here we will cover how to request InMotion's assistance to merge multiple cPanel accounts. This is mainly used to reduce the number of cPanel accounts in use to allow a downgrade to either the cPanel license or the hosting plan. This request will be submitted from your Account Management Panel (AMP).

Submit Merge Request
- On the My Account page in AMP, locate and click the Website Transfer Request button
NOTE: This is a fee-based service. - Click the Transfer A Website icon
NOTE: You can only have one ongoing request at a time. - Fill out the form on the following page
- Select InMotion Hosting as the host
- Select Yes for cPanel question
- Ensure 2FA has been disabled
NOTE: Sometimes 2FA has been enabled within the cPanel, and it would need to be disabled as we proceed to access your site file to complete the migration. - Under additional information, include the following:
- Primary cPanel username - this is the cPanel where everything will end up
- Secondary cPanel username(s) - this is the cPanel(s) that will be merged into the primary cPanel
- Any additional details
NOTE: When completing the form, providing necessary and complete details can limit the delay in completing your request.
- Provide the domain name(s) being worked with
- Confirm the Preferred Contact Method
- Decide if you wish to pay extra for a Priority transfer
