Web Host Manager (WHM) is a powerful administrative tool that allows you to manage cPanel accounts and various aspects of the server or hosting account. From WHM you can create new cPanel accounts, modify existing accounts, add custom branding, allow IP addresses in your server firewall, and much more.
If you are on a VPS or dedicated server, you can access WHM as the root user to unlock special privileges and advanced options, such as starting and stopping services, enabling automatic backups, and modifying various server-wide settings. Here we cover how to access Root WHM from your AMP.
