Switch User from Command Line

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.

  1. Ensure shell access is enabled
    1. Log into CWP Admin
    2. Expand User Accounts
    3. Click List Accounts
    4. Click the cog wheel to edit account settings

    5. Enable the Shell Access
      Enable_Shell_Access_CWP.PNG
    6. Click Update to save
  2. SSH into the server as root
  3. Run the command su - userna5 to switch to the user
    REPLACE: userna5 with the username.
