Use rkhunter on CWP

rkhunter, short for Rootkit Hunter, is a security utility for Linux and Unix systems and is available to install and use on the Control Web Panel (CWP).

It scans for signs of malicious software designed to gain unauthorized access to a computer or server, known as rootkits. rkhunter helps detect and alert users to potential security issues, enhancing system security.

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.

1. Log into CWP Admin
2. Expand Security
   
3. Click Security RKHunter Scan
   
   
4. If rkhunter is not installed
   1. Click Install Rkhunter
      
      
   2. Click Confirm Install
   3. Click X to return to the previous screen once the installation is complete
5. Optionally, select the checkbox to scan background processes
6. Click Scan to start the scan
