cPanel and Exim have many built-in features to help prevent spamming and subsequent damage to your IP reputation in the event of an email account becoming compromised.
One such feature is the ability for the system to automatically suspend sending capabilities for an email account when the account is detected as a spammer due to sending mail to a large number of unique recipients.
However, in some cases, legitimate mail activity such as newsletters may trigger this suspension. If you find your email account is repeatedly being suspended, this setting may need to be disabled or adjusted. Here we detail the steps to take to modify these settings in Root WHM on your VPS or Dedicated server.
