Here we explain how to backup emails using Horde. This process will require Webmail access through cPanel or direct login. Backing up email data is recommended and this process will allow you to store the data locally on your device for future use.

Backup Process
CAUTION: Roundcube does not allow for backing up email in Webmail, only Horde will allow this.
- Log into Webmail using Horde
TIP: If logged into Roundcube as default, follow this process on changing the Webmail client to Horde. - Right-click Inbox
- Click Export
- Choose to download an MBOX file or MBOX File (Zip Compressed)
- Recommended to use the Zip Compressed option
- Click OK
NOTE: Each folder must be backed up individually. There is no way to back up the entire account at once. - Save the file locally
- Recommended to use the Zip Compressed option
- Click Export
