Enable Metrics Editor

This guide covers how to enable the Metrics Editor for cPanel on a VPS or dedicated server.

The Metrics Editor grants you the control to switch your statistics software according to your preferences.

EXAMPLE: Error messages you may see if the Metrics Editor is disabled are as follows.

This icon indicates that the stats program is locked by the administrator.

Information: The system administrator manages the stats programs.

Enable Metrics Editor

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.

1. Log into Root WHM
2. Navigate to Statistics Software Configuration, located in the Server Configuration section
   
3. On the right side, you will see "Allow all users to change their web statistics generating software."
4. Enable and Save
