When an error is show creating a new cPanel account regarding no free IP addresses, the current package can be adjusted or a new package created to not include Dedicated IP in the settings.
The error message shown is:
Your system has run out of available IP addresses, or you do not have permission to use any more IP addresses. (Unable to find an IP address.)

Edit the Package
NOTE: This error occurs when the package selected is configured to use a dedicated IP address and there are no available IPs to use.
CAUTION: These instructions explain how to edit the existing package. If any cPanel accounts are currently using a dedicated IP with this package, it is recommended to make a new package for the new cPanel account instead.
- Log into Root WHM
- Navigate to Edit a Package, located in the Packages section
- Select the package that is supposed to be used for the new cPanel
- Click the Edit button
- Scroll down to the Settings section
- If this package is not being used by any other cPanel accounts that utilize a dedicated IP, uncheck Dedicated IP
- If this package is being used by any other cPanel accounts, recreate the package as a new package with the Dedicated IP option unchecked
- Save Changes
CAUTION: VPS+ accounts can directly modify the package settings as the root user. If the package needs to be edited without root, the package must be recreated from WHM instead of Root WHM. On shared reseller accounts, the package will need to be recreated with the Dedicated IP option unchecked. If unable to recreate the package, please contact support.
