Add Third Party Mail Provider to SPF Record

These steps explain how to add an additional mail provider to a domain's SPF record. This process will require cPanel access and nameservers for the domain will need to be pointed to InMotion Hosting. The value being added will need to be provided by the third-party mail provider. DNS changes can take 4 to 24 hours to update/propagate.

Add Third Party Value to SPF Record

1. Log into cPanel
2. Click on Email Deliverability in the Email area
   
3. Click Manage to the right of the domain being modified
4. Click on Customize under the SPF record being modified (typically only one option)
   
5. Select the relevant option: Add A New "Host (+a)" Item or Add A New "+include" Item
   
6. Enter in the SPF record addition to the text field that is generated
7. Click Install a Customized SPF record
