Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV) is a free antimalware software developed for Unix and able to detect trojans, viruses, malware, and other malicious threats. One of its main uses is on mail servers as a server-side email virus scanner.
For cPanel & WHM versions 88 and later, it is recommended to use ImunifyAV instead of ClamAV, but those preferring to use ClamAV may still install it on their VPS or Dedicated servers.
Here we cover the steps to install ClamAV in your Root WHM and use it to run scans.
