Your Minecraft Server Hosting plan includes options for port configuration. This guide will show you how to adjust port configurations using the Networking interface in the Game Management Panel.
AMP Service Port Ranges
NOTE: Using the AMP Service Port Ranges section, you have the ability to add, remove, or reorder the service port ranges used by your Game Management Panel when new instances are created.
- Access your Networking Options
- Locate the AMP Service Port Ranges section
- Change Service Port Range Priorities
- You can click the arrows to move the priority up and down
- Remove a Service Port Range
- Click the Remove button to delete a port range immediately
- Add a Port Range
- Click the Add button
- Enter the beginning port range followed by a colon (:)
- Enter the ending port range
- Click the OK button to save your changes
Port Assignment Mode
NOTE: Here you can choose to use only ports that are explicitly allowed or you can choose to allow any port unless it is expressly excluded.
TIP: The allowed or excluded ports are set in the Application Port Ranges and Application Port Exclusions sections that follow.
- Access your Networking Options
- Locate the Port Assignment Mode section
- Click the dropdown box and choose from the following options
- Include allowed ports only
- Allow all except excluded
Application Port Ranges
NOTE: Using the Application Service Port Ranges section, you have the ability to add, remove, or reorder the service port ranges used by your Game Management Panel when new instances are created.
- Access your Networking Options
- Locate the Application Service Port Ranges section
- Change Service Port Range Priorities
- You can click the arrows to move the priority up and down
- Removing a Service Port Range
- Click the Remove button to delete a port range immediately
- Add a Port Range
- Click the Add button
- Enter the beginning port range followed by a colon (:)
- Enter the ending port range
- Click the OK button to save your changes
Application Port Exclusions
NOTE: Using the Application Port Exclusions section, you have the ability to add, remove, or reorder the service port ranges used by your Game Management Panel when new instances are created.
- Access your Networking Options
- Locate the Application Port Exclusions section
- In this section, you can Add IP ranges that you do not want to allow to be used for applications
- Change Service Port Range Priorities
- You can click the arrows to move the priority up and down
- Removing a Service Port Range
- Click the Remove button to delete a port range immediately
CAUTION: Ports 0 to 1024 are automatically added here since your Minecraft Game Panel uses them.
- Click the Remove button to delete a port range immediately

- Enter the beginning port range followed by a colon (:)
- Enter the ending port range
- Click the OK button to save your changes
