This article applies to VPS, Dedicated servers, and child cPanel accounts on Reseller hosting plans.

Reset cPanel Password
- Log into WHM
NOTE: If the account is owned by the root user on a VPS or Dedicated server, you will need to login to Root WHM instead. - Navigate to Account Functions -> Password Modification
- Select the applicable cPanel account
- Enter the desired password in the New Password field or use the Generate button to insert a randomly generated password, then enter the password again in the Confirm Password field
- Click the Change Password button
