Update Domain Nameservers

These steps explain how to update a domains nameservers.  The process below is specific to changing nameservers for a domain actively registered with InMotion Hosting.  This process is completed in the Account Management Panel (AMP).  

If a domain is registered with a third party registrar nameservers will need to be changed at the third party.  

DNS changes, including nameservers, can take between 4 to 24 hours to update/propagate.  

Change Nameservers

1. In AMP, hover over the DOMAINS menu and select Manage Domains
   
   
2. Click on the domain name, and select the option that says Point your domain
   
   
3. Update the nameservers accordingly
   NOTE: Allow up to 24 hours for full propagation.
4. Click Submit
