Here we will cover what to do when Webmail is showing as insecure when a third-party SSL certificate is installed.
The reason that this happens is that typically, with a Dedicated SSL, the only domains that are covered are the main domain (domain.com) and the www. subdomain (www.domain.com). Therefore, Webmail is not covered by the SSL certificate.
This issue can be resolved by using a redirect in cPanel as long as the domain's nameservers are pointed here.

What to do or how to resolve:
- Verify that the nameservers for the domain are pointed here
- If the domain is pointed to our nameservers, it is possible to get AutoSSL to cover the Webmail subdomain
- Log into cPanel
- Click on Domains in the Domains section of cPanel
- Create the subdomain "webmail"
EXAMPLE: webmail.domain.com
REPLACE: domain.com with the domain that is being worked on. - Locate the webmail subdomain that was just created in the Domains area and click on Manage next to the webmail subdomain
- Click Modify The Redirects on the right side of the page under Additional Resources
- Create a redirection to the domain's secure webmail port: https://domain.com:2096
REPLACE: domain.com with the domain to be redirected.
