Email Bounceback due to Greylisting

These steps explain how to prevent emails from bouncing back due to greylisting. Track Delivery error logs in cPanel showing: deferred due to greylisting.

Access to Root WHM will be needed to complete this process.  

The bounceback error will appear as follows:

Deferred due to greylisting. Host: '123.45.67.89' From: 'bounce@domain.com' To: 'user@domain.com' SPF: 'unchecked'

Prevent Greylisting Bouncebacks 

IMPORTANT: This solution will require root access. If this needs to be obtained, follow the guide on requesting root access.

1. Log into Root WHM
2. Expand the Email dropdown on the left side and select Greylisting
   
   
3. Click on the Trusted Hosts tab
   
   
4. Enter one or more IP addresses into the Trusted Hosts text box
   NOTE: Enter each IP address or range of addresses on a separate line.
5. Enter a comment in the Comment Box (if needed)
6. Click Add below the entry
