The following steps explain pointing the site content for a domain to InMotion Hosting while pointing an email to a dedicated third-party provider. This process will require using the DNS Zone Editor in cPanel or making DNS modifications at a third-party DNS Zone.
If DNS changes are being made in the InMotion Hosting DNS Zone, the domain's nameservers will need to be pointed to InMotion Hosting. Otherwise, the DNS changes will need to be completed at the third-party DNS zone where the nameservers are pointed.
DNS record changes can take 4 to 24 hours to update/propagate.
